The 12 Spies

Listen to the Bible story in the Bible videos tab or read it out of your own Bible story book.

NOTE: I made this video last year January so the first 3 minutes has the calendar activities from last year. You can jump ahead to 3:27 minutes to get to the Bible story.

Activity: Find the corresponding Bible page and fill in the blanks on the bottom of the page. Draw a picture related to the story.

Take your number cards and put them in the right order. Take your dice and roll them. Flip the card of the number you roll. If you roll it again, flip it back the other way. If you roll a 10, 11 or a 12, roll again!

Activity: Count and Graph Desserts

Find the page with the cupcakes, ice cream cones and cookies. Count the different desserts and put the numbers in the box beside the different pictures. So if there are 8 cookies, write the numbers 1-8 in the box beside the cookies. They could just put x's but I want them to practice writing their numbers.

Letter Review

Watch the video in the Phonics videos tab entitled Letter Sounds Review. We will go over all the letter sounds learned and if we know them all, we will be Top Bananas!

Please also take a minute to go through the key chains with your child to see how many sounds they know. I will test them when we are back in the classroom.

Activity: Who lives in the At House?

Get your scissors and your glue. Cut out the letters along the side and put them in the right order in the house. Can you see the picture? Can you sound out the word?

Pick another worksheet from the back of your yellow folder. Be sure to work neatly and slowly, holding your pencil correctly!
